We provide our members with market access to sell their produce, enabling them to secure favorable prices for their crops.
We provide a variety of market access services to our members, enabling them to sell their produce in local and international markets. One way the cooperative does this is by working with established buyers to create reliable market linkages for the farmers. The cooperative also has its own market outlets where members can sell their produce.
To ensure fair pricing, we engages in price negotiations with buyers on behalf of our members. This is particularly important for smallholder farmers who may not have the negotiating power to secure good prices on their own. By selling their crops through TANAFACO, members can benefit from economies of scale and higher bargaining power.
Additional Services
In addition to market access, we also provide our members with market information and trends. This helps farmers to make informed decisions on what crops to grow and when to sell them. The cooperative also supports farmers with quality control and assurance measures to ensure that their produce meets market standards and regulations.
